During our last visit to Seattle in January for Km's birthday extravaganza, we enjoyed plenty of delectable cuisines and libations. We also met a lot of pretty awesome friends of Km and Kendal's, including Sarah!
In an interesting series of events, Sarah acquired a bottle of 2004 Bruno Cellars Napa Merlot. To my delight, she brought it over to share on Km's birthday! Bruno Cellars is a small, family-owned winery, crafting wines with Italian influence stemming from the family's southern Italian roots.
There were 45 cases of 2004 Merlot produced at Bruno Cellars, then aged in French oak for 12 months. It was fruity...with plums and raspberries, and a bit of vanilla from the oak. What a delicious and unexpected treat!
