Vigilance Winery's Cimmaron is a sustainably-farmed, rich, velvety blend of many of my favorite varietals: 44% Zinfandel, 39% Syrah, 9% Petite Sirah, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon. Mmmm.
I gave it some time to breathe. Favors of dark berries, vanilla, and spices. Black pepper. Perfect for relaxing by the fire...wintery and warm. (Also would be quite good with wintery foods like red-sauced pastas, or hearty meats.)
